The Egg (All Things Are Alive 29)

I drew The Egg with 124 individual markers on heavy acid-free cardstock (215# 500 Series Bristol 2-play board) and is 15″ x 20″ in size.

THE ORIGINAL is available framed on a white matte/white frame with museum-quality non-reflective glass that helps protect the color from light damage. Cost is $1450 domestically via PayPal, click here to purchase. For international orders, please contact me directly.

PRINTS
The giclee print is available unframed for $45 at 9″x12″ and $95 at 15″x20″ with shipping included. Prints come on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Ultra Smooth 305 paper an excellent heavyweight paper stock that I have compared to others for high-quality fine art prints. The matt premium coating provides excellent print results with impressive reproduction of color, detail and very deep black. Notes on this paper stock:

305 gsm, 100% cotton
Discreet, very finely textured surface with a strikingly silky feel
Acid-free and lignin-free
ISO 9706 conform / museum quality for highest age resistance
It’s shipped with tracking in a USPS Priority Shipping box wrapped in plastic and cardboard for extra protection.

I seek through my art to represent the life and movement that makes up the entire universe. There is no surface or area of space that is not filled with energy and movement; quantum particles pop in and out of existence even in deepest space. It’s the quantum foam of existence. So through my detailed marker drawings, I am representing this endless energy and the unity of animate and inanimate objects—at a subatomic level, it is all one. Matter is just one form of energy. I’m creating a sensation of life through inorganic abstract shapes.
