Hitting Bottom

Things are weird.
Things are weird, man. And women.
Things are weird, woman.
These are shady, apocalyptic times.
Wars are brewing. Violence tensing its muscles.
Old, white men making decisions. Old power. Old money.
Technology feeding back on itself.
Paying deferred costs.
The wealthy knowledgeably ignore deferred costs.
The nuclear example.
Mutual deterrence is okay until one side slips.
Then the spire blossoms.
Can you see
the blue spiral of energy (why is it blue?) growing
and falling as its momentum builds carrying
oh
so
many
consciousnesses with it?
Are we to be forgiven? We are all guilty.
Is this the last slide into the depths of depression, of poverty?
No. I make a prediction, a gut reaction.
There will be a bottom here, a painful stop and then a gradual return upward.
For Americans at least.
But then.
The next one.
That
will
be
the
big
one.
When the environment collapses at the same time as a depression begins.
I predict 40 years.

(The conservatives, the corporations have been playing with forces that they aren't even aware of.
Enlightenment is our only hope.)

Then we don't stop sliding.
Remember my words.
Just in case.
